Youth Champions

This character based animation was created to promote the ‘Youth Champions for Environment and Peace’ program by UNFIYCP.

Through this publicity video, the organization aimed to highlight the importance of having young people from all the communities of Cyprus, working together to safeguard the natural environment of the island.

By joining the program young people between 18-25 years of age would have the chance to work together on environmentally related issues that contribute in finding ways to help build a sustainable and peaceful future for Cyprus. Together with experts and mentors from Cyprus and abroad, participants will learn about their common island’s environmental challenges and develop fresh ideas for green and social enterprises that might benefit both people and the planet.

For the creation of this animation, we chose to use colorful imagery and contemporary character designs that would appeal to our target audience without using stereotypical characteristics.
