This publicity video that was created for the Cyprus Telecommunications Authority, is a hybrid between an 'animated explainer' (that tends to have a more promotional feel) and a 'walkthrough video' which tends to be used during the client onboarding process.

We followed this hybrid approach because we wanted to first raise awareness among our client's subscribers for the free internet protection service that became available to them, and also to inform them on how they could adjust it based on their preferred level of child protection.

The animation begins with a character driven segment that features very stylized designs, which aims to capture the attention fo the viewer, while at the same time highlight the dangers of unmonitored internet access by minors. This is followed by a walkthrough segment, where the animation explains exactly how the service works, what features are available and how they can be accessed.
